“B” ONE with Us!

We are thrilled to invite you to join the new “B” ONE with Us volunteer circle for The Jones Center.  This team is made up of individuals and families who give their time to help The Jones Center serve the Northwest Arkansas community.   “B” of course stands for Bernice Jones, the founder of The Jones Center, who had the vision to create a facility that she hoped would “serve families, strengthen communities and glorify God” long after her death.  Today, the Center is as busy and vibrant as ever, and serves well over one million people every year.  Please help us keep Bernice's legacy strong!

Our Need:

The purpose of the “B” ONE with Us volunteer circle is to support The Jones Center by providing assistance with special events, programs and activities.  Many of these activities are one-time or annual events, and are either our vital community programs or the types of fund-raising events necessary to supplement The Center's revenue.   Volunteers are key to our keeping our expenses at a minimum while providing high quality and innovative programming and maximizing our revenue!

Membership:

We welcome both individuals and families to become members of the “B” ONE with Us volunteer circle.  Born from a need identified by the Friends of Bernice Giving Circle, this volunteer circle has no membership fee, financial expectations or regularly scheduled meetings.  The team will come together to volunteer for scheduled events, special programs and other activities offered by The Jones Center, and members may contribute as much or as little time as they feel comfortable with.   Members will be kept updated through e-mail. 

The “B” ONE with Us volunteers may work on a number of exciting and fun events including our:

■ Spring Break Week (March)
■ Wine and Cheese Fundraiser (Spring)
■ Big Night Gala Event (June)
■ Fashion Show (Summer)
■ Backpack Day (stuffing and distributing 1,700 school backpacks for deserving Springdale children-August)
■ Friends of The Jones Center Golf Outing (September)
■ Skating with Santa (December)

Please join “B” ONE with Us and become part of the special volunteer group that supports one of the most unique community centers in the country!  By volunteering for The Jones Center, you and your family will both experience the reward and joy of giving back to the community in a meaningful way, and enrich the lives of many families in Northwest Arkansas.  All circle members will receive an invitation to The Jones Center's volunteer appreciation events.
